Picea abies

This evergreen hedge with its green needles and bolt-upright stem is an excellent instant hedge. The branches are arranged nice and regularly and are covered in 2 cm long bristly, glossy needles. The new needle growth is light green. Due to trimming, this spruce will not form any cones. It tolerates shady places well; a very sunny position retards its growth. The Norway spruce is suitable for moderately moist soil types.
