In a country garden, natural growth is given a lot of room, although it is best to keep it under control. This creates a warm, romantic atmosphere. As the garden recedes further from the house, it gradually merges into the surroundings. Natural hedges and banks enclose the garden; they provide a suitable extent of privacy and create an attractive transition between the garden and its surroundings. This country garden continues to fascinate. Everyone seems to adore the natural nonchalance of this garden. It seems as if this country garden has always been here… as if the house was only built later on.
